Yuri Pleskun (born 1991 in Russia)
is a Russian male model that was discovered whilst he was walking around the Bronx in New York.
In 2008 Yuri Pleskun signed with Re:Quest and was in the fall issue of Another Man.
In 2009 he became the face for Topman, he was in an editorial for i-D, he was in the spring issue of Vogue Hommes Japan, he walked the spring shows for Rick Owens and Paul Smith in Paris, he was in the spring issue of 10 Men, he walked the spring shows for Zero Maria Cornejo, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Patrik Ervell in New York, he modeled the fall ad campaign for Marc by Marc Jacobs and was in the fall issue of Self Service.
In 2010 he appeared in an editorial for V, he walked the fall shows for Paul Smith and Rick Owens in Paris, he walked the fall shows for Generra, Rag & Bone, Rad Hourani and Duckie Brown in New York, he was in an editorial for Interview, he was in the spring issue of Love, he modeled the catalogue for Urban Outfitters, he appeared in editorials for Metal Magazine, Vogue Man China, Dazed & Confused and Vogue Italia, he was in the fall and winter issue of i-D and appeared in an editorial for Teen Vogue.
In 2011 he became the face for Balenciaga, he appeared in ad campaigns for Eddie Borgo, Tommy Hilfiger, Equipment and Calvin Klein, he was in editorials for Vision China, L’Officiel Hommes Ukraine, Remix Magazine, Carbon Copy, i-D Magazine, W Magazine, Commons & Sense Magazine, Twin Magazine, Numero Homme, L’Officiel Hommes Korea, Vogue Germany, 7th Man Magazine, Varon Magazine and Essential Homme, he was on the covers of Carbon Copy, Grit Magazine and 7th Man Magazine and walked for Siki Im, Yohji Yamamoto and Lanvin.
In 2012 he walked for Dries Van Noten, Dior Homme, Paul Smith, Rag & Bone, Ann Demeulemeester, Costume National, Pringle of Scotland, McQ, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lacoste, Siki Im, Duckie Brown and Patrik Ervell, he was on the cover of L’Officiel Hommes Korea, he was in editorials for The Last Magazine, Oyster Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Barney’s, W Magazine, Interview Russia, Arena Homme+, Another Magazine and Bon Magazine and appeared in ad campaigns for Tod’s, Topman, Costume National, Diesel and Calvin Klein.
In 2013 he was in an ad campaign for Zara, he was in editorials for Supplementaire, GQ Style Germany, Grey Magazine and Dazed & Confused, he was on the cover of Supplementaire and walked for Rag & Bone, General Idea, Siki Im and Public School.
In 2014 he walked for Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Paul Smith, Siki Im, Public School and DKNY, he was in editorials for Dior, L’Officiel Hommes Italia, Fat Man Magazine, Vogue Italia, CFDA, L’Officiel Homme Germany and V Man and was in an ad campaign for Public School.
More recently in 2015 Yuri Pleskun was in editorials for GQ Style Brazil, GQ China, Vogue Italia and Bon Magazine, he was on the cover of Tom* Magazine and walked for Public School, Adidas and Billy Reid.
