Hailing originally from LaGrange, Ohio, Jeff Tomsik literally became known as the "garbage man-turned model" almost overnight. With his trademark All-American good looks and outgoing personality, Chosen Models in Chicago signed Tomsik at the end of 2006.
Shortly thereafter, it was arranged for him to meet with legendary photographer Bruce Weber in 2007, which resulted in a major Hollister campaign where he ultimately became the "face of the brand." Various Abercrombie & Fitch and Abercrombie Kids campaigns quickly followed.
After relocating to New York City, Tomsik soon became one of the most sought after models in the industry, spending the next few years steadily working in the US and around the world in featured campaigns and shows for Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, American Eagle, Under Armour, Parke & Ronen, Belk, JC Penney, Kohl's, Nautica, Aeropostal, Gas Jeans, Bluenotes and Marlon Gobel just to name a few.
In addition to Weber, Tomsik has been shot by some of the industries top photographers including Greg Gorman, Tony Duran, Ben Watts, Sharif Hamza and Mariano Vivanco and has graced the pages of Vogue (with Kate Moss), Vogue (with Malgosia Bella) Interview, Homme Style, MR (two covers), Runway, Candy Mag, Fantastics (cover), and VMan.
